Sleepers (1996)

Four kids from the Bronx are sentenced to a juvenile detention centre and suffer heavy abuse from the officers. When they get out and grow up, they plot of their revenge. The writer of the novel the film is based on, wrote from personal experience of his time in Juvie in his youth. This is a brilliant film with an all-star cast including Jason Patric, Brad Pitt and Kevin Bacon.
