Leona Omalley, 24, has already had four procedures of lip enlargement, but still wasn’t satisfied with the result. So, this time, she decided to save some money by inviting a beautician for an at-home procedure at a Christmas-week-only price of $225 (£180) for 1 ml of filler. Leona claims the beautician practiced poor hygiene including not wearing gloves, carrying needles in a plastic bag instead of a sterile case, and using baby wipes instead of antiseptic wipes, which resulted in her lips swelling terribly and her having to be hospitalized. Now she warns every woman from taking such operations at home.
