Geostorm

It’s the future and climate-controlling satellites suddenly stop working. Instead, they release disaster-creating small pods that turn the world into chaos. A man then goes into space in order to stop the satellites from creating and distributing more of these disaster sowing pods. If the man fails to stop the satellites, a “geostorm” – a storm that consists of tornadoes, tsunamis, massive hailstones and fire whirls – will occur. This geostorm will eventually destroy the world.

Geostorm will be released on October 20th. It’s a disaster action film that stars Gerard Butler, Daniel Wu, Abbie Cornish, Ed Harris and Andy Garcia. The film was initially supposed to be released in March 2016 but later the date was moved to that of October 2017.
