Giant Squid
Inhabiting inaccessible depths of the ocean, the Giant Squid is one of the most mysterious and elusive animals in the world. Yet, scientists are almost sure it is the biggest invertebrate on Earth, measuring up to 18 m (59 ft) in length and weighing nearly a ton. This giant creature is thought to feed on fish, shrimp, other squids, and possibly even small whales.
