Johnny Depp – The Lone Ranger (2013)

This was supposed to revive the Lone Ranger franchise, once a hallmark of radio, TV, and the movies. But not many people really wanted The Lone Ranger to come back, maybe because this big-budget movie starred Johnny Depp, a white dude, as the Lone Ranger’s sidekick Tonto, a Native American. For whatever reason, Disney lost more than $100 million on the movie.
