Jennifer Lawrence – The Beaver (2011)

This comedy-drama about a broken middle-aged man who communicates through a beaver puppet was supposed to be a comeback vehicle for star Mel Gibson. Jennifer Lawrence, right after her Oscar-nominated role in Winter’s Bone and right before she started playing Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, co-starred. Audiences didn’t care. The movie had a budget of $21 million and made less than a million bucks at the box office.
