Reese Witherspoon – How Do You Know? (2010)

This is a pleasant, understated relationship drama written and directed by James L. Brooks (Terms of Endearment and As Good As it Gets) but somehow cost $120 million to produce. That money must have gone to the salaries for its cast of huge stars: Jack Nicholson, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, and Reese Witherspoon. It earned an okay $30 million at the American box office, not nearly enough to cover its expenditures.
