John Potter, of Pebmarsh, England, puts a thatched top on his second-hand car that came without a top on June 2, 1964. Potter, whose family has been thatchers for generations, decided to create his own top when he was asked to pay 40 pounds for a top for the car that he paid 25 pounds to buy.
