In 1861, Italy became a unified country and hungered to colonize other parts of the world like their European neighbors. They quickly started colonies in African countries like Somalia and Libya. In 1922, under the control of fascist dictator Benito Mussolini, Italy planned to annex even more territories to its control including Greece and Albania. While in power, Mussolini created a police state, dissolved parliament, and suppressed all opposition against him.

Thank you , Alice. My first time commenting here but this post is so egregiously wrong in so many ways I was forced to register just to call it out.
I'm not sure where or how, izismile gets his facts... well, not facts really, leftist propaganda more like it. As in, Confederates raping "millions" of African-American women and, too, the items you mention as well as many others. Columbus a 'conquistador'... seriously.
Post entertainment, entertaining pictures, etc., not skewed takes on history in support of a Howard Zinn view of the world.

Totally wrong wrong wrong regarding the Confederate South. Someone needs to really check history.
