Cuba is the first hyper-militarized country on our list. Well over 1/10th of its population is in the army, which is even more than our as-of-yet leader Singapore. Unfortunately for Cuba, however, its army size doesn’t translate into military strength as it doesn’t even make the top 20 strongest militaries in the world.
