Panspermia Theory
One of the oldest theories on the list, the Panspermia theory was first mentioned in 5th century BC in ancient Greece and has been adopted and developed by many scientists since then. The hypothesis suggests that life exists throughout the universe and is distributed by meteoroids, asteroids, comets and other astronomical objects in the form of unintended contamination by microorganisms.
