Astronauts who have stayed up in space for longer than a month may want to get their eyes checked. A new study showed that these astronauts have deformities in their eyes, optic nerves, and pituitary glands. The problems arise from “intracranial hypertension,” a condition where pressure pushes on the brain and skull.
