I’m sure, by now, you’ve picked up that Tortoises can live a long time. What makes Jonathan different is that he’s still alive. Living on the Island of Saint Helena, he roams the grounds of the Island’s Governor’s plantation.

Unfortunately, he’s blind and has lost his sense of smell, but his sense of hearing is still sharp, and he’s cared for by the other Tortoises and caretakers.
