Edited. This is a mouse deer or Chevrotain, little funny creature living in the tropical forests of Africa, India, Sri Lanka, and South-east Asia. They try to keep low profile and have primitive features, closer to pigs. They also have short, thin legs which leave them lacking in agility but also helps to run through the dense foliage of their environment. Incredible! I have never heard or seen something like this before.
Baloo the bear (1000 pounds), Leo the Lion (350 pounds) and Shere Khan the tiger (350 pounds) have the most unusual and unlikely friendship between them. They were rescued eight years ago during a police drugs raid in Atlanta, Georgia. The three friends were only cubs at the time and were kept by drug barons. After the rescue they were sent to the Noah's Ark animal rescue centre in Locust Grove, Georgia, and it was decided to keep the animals together.

Andy and Pike, 2 polar bears at the San Francisco Zoo had a nice gift for the first day of winter. Indeed, 10 tons of donated ice was turned in snow and shot into their exhibit to create a fun playground on December 21. Look how happy they are, it’s the best gift they could offer to those two polar bears, except freedom and real snow…

So, to give his best friend a better life in a big cat sanctuary in South Africa, Lucian decided to pass the lion to Vier Pfoten, an international animal rights foundation which relocated Richie there. Yes, it is hard to say good bye…

A certain James Gurney has made portraits of a gorilla and a chimpanzee in the North Carolina Zoo. He approached the glass with a submissive posture, then, when a gorilla came right up to the glass and posed for him, he started to make a portrait. He did the same with a chimpanzee that apparently wanted James Gurney to show him every ten minutes or so how he was coming along on the sketch… It seems that they like to pose and are curious to see the result!
