Japanese cats seem to become immune to cat-deterring spikes (neko-yoke no togetoge in Japanese), which anyone could buy at every 100-yen shop (similar to dollar stores) to prevent cat fur from appearing in undesired places like kitchen table, air conditioners, fences etc.
These photos show that cats were able to adapt to these severe measures and no longer pay attention to the spikes – if they want to be there, they will go there, spikes or no spikes.
These fascinating photos were taken by amateur photographer Sunny Inaganti on the lake in the state of Telangana, South India. A heron decided to feast on a fish but when it grabbed its catch, it was surprised to find out that its meal was also claimed by a snake that was clinging to the fish too. Who do you think won the fight?
Monkey the cat has teeth that make him look like a little vampire. His owners found him after almost hitting him with their car. After they stopped and got out of the car they discovered an unhealthy, malnourished black kitty with cute vampire teeth. They took him home and today Monkey is a happy cat living with his loving family in New York and lacks nothing.
Popeye the dog was found by his future owner Ivy Diep who described him to be “super skinny, heavily matted, dirty." She took him in because nobody wanted him but very quickly she and her husband fell in love with the doggie plus he made friends with her other dogs. Now Ivy takes him to the best pet-friendly restaurants in town almost every day.
