Very sad story happened not far from Vancouver, Canada.
The Sapphire Princess hit the 70ft fin whale in the ocean off Alaska.

Long ago, when I was not working yet on Izismile, I went to other websites and gladly watch any cool pictures and videos. Though, I’ve always been thinking, why everybody posts only 5-10 funny pics a day and think it is enough? Thus was born the idea to collect and post a lot of interesting, funny and just unusual pictures and videos in one daily set of news.
It seems that we manage to do it since you are still with us. But having such quantities of pictures, I sometimes forget what I have already posted on the site and what not. So, excuse me for the possible repetitions )

Imagine if you could look at something once and remember it forever.
The group of scientists was studying a poorly-understood region of the visual cortex.
The researchers concluded that this region of the visual cortex, known as layer six of region V2, is responsible for creating visual memories. They found that if they boosted production of a protein called RGS-14 (pictured) in that area of the visual cortex in mice, it dramatically affected the animals' ability to remember objects they had seen.
What's particularly intriguing is the fact that this protein works on visual memory only. So, it would be perfect for mapping. It would also be useful for engineers and architects who need to hold a lot of visual images in their minds at once. And it would also be a great drug for detectives and spies.

The first working days have passed very quickly. Today it’s Wednesday, which means that Friday is not far away :)
The most important news of yesterday was, of course, the funeral of Michael Jackson which was turned into a show.
First, the burial ceremony of the singer took place at the cemetery Forest Lawn and then was held a farewell concert with the participation of world stars in Staples Center.
More than a million fans of the pop idol arrived in Los Angeles, but only the 20,000 persons who managed to buy tickets could see all this on live.

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, ' Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?
