Inside this post, you will discover amazing photos of nature taken in a black and white.  This year the Hollywood film industry celebrates its 100-th anniversary. I wish I could have a time machine to travel back to those black-and-white times of Charlie Chaplin silent movies, The Birth of Nation and many other wonderful old films. These pictures give the feeling of comfort and harmony…  Those photos were shot by the photographer Marco Di Lauro. It is located in the south-east of the island, covering more than 8% of the country. With a size of 8,100 km², it is the largest glacier in Europe in volume (3,100 km³) and the second largest in area. The average thickness of the ice is 400 m, with a maximum thickness of 1,000 m. Donna de Cesare is a famous photographer from New York. Her works appeared in big publications like The New York Times magazine, Life, DoubleTake, Aperture, Mother Jones and some exhibitions all around the world. Her reportage about the spread of US gang culture to Central America has won national and international awards. Recognized as an expert on issues of youth identity and gang violence, De Cesare has worked as a consultant to UNICEF. Well, her resume is quite big so I will stop here. The strength of her works is that she tells the story of youth involved in gangs without stereotyping them and her photos speak by themselves. You will see interesting photos she took for her projects inside the post.  It’s interesting to see that such a beauty lies in hostile environments as deserts. It’s simple, stare at the black dot in the middle of the picture and wait for few seconds. You should see a color photo. Then, blink several times and you will see that in fact, the pic is black and white. ;)  Here are some photographs of the Beatles that have never been unveiled before.
