Here are gathered some of the funniest and coolest flags ever. We’re far here from the simple striped flags; those are a bit more creative… The North Caucasian Emirate, Russia (1918-1921)  Mother Nature gave those creatures an amazing gift - the best natural camouflage ever! It’s the biggest Swiss flag in the world and certainly one of the biggest flags in the world (the second behind is the Israeli one, I think,). Saturday, August 1st, was the Swiss National Day and for the occasion, they mounted on mountain Saentis the largest Swiss flag ever. It measures 120 meters by 120 meters (14.400 m²) – that’s huge!  Here is an impressive way of celebrating the National Day, so don’t miss it, take a look on the pics inside the post.  Liu Bolin, 36, the Chinese artist knows how to disappear in the environment. What is a camouflage and how we can hide in a forest using it, we know that. But how an urban camouflage works. It’s quite difficult to hide oneself in the city ))   What you are going to see is how Lockheed Burbank Aircraft Plant was transformed into a rural area. During the WW II, to protect the plant from a Japanese air attack, they covered it with big camouflage netting, creating the largest trompe l'oeil ever. Before  Great series of pictures.
