These unique boats are called Kettuvalloms and they are one of the most important tourist attractions of India.
Kettuvalloms have almost everything: bedrooms with terraces, balconies with comfortable seating, bathrooms and even kitchen with private chef.
It is some sort of floating hotel for tourists wishing to get acquainted with the memorable sights of India.

Nine-year old Rohan Ajit Kokane set a new world record in the limbo skating under the cars. He rolled blindfolded only 8 inches above the ground. However, he said that in the future he would try to roll under more than 3 cars at once. In India, the enthusiasm to this sport is spreading very quickly among children.

In the Indian slums you will see many more smiling people than in the prosperous business districts of other cities around the world.
This is despite the fact that most people live below the poverty line.
Something to think about.

“In the depths of north-eastern India, in one of the wettest places on earth, bridges aren't built - they're grown.”
That sums up pretty well the idea of this post, here, the bridges are 100% natural.
Some of those bridges can be over a hundred feet long and they require 10 to 15 years to be fully functional. Some are really old (like hundreds of years) but they become stronger with years…
Look at those amazing shots inside the post.

Jyothi Raj, 22, is performing for tourists at India's Chitradurga Fort. He climbs the wall and gives the impression that he can stick to it. He likes also to exercise on very dangerous building sites of India. He claims he never uses any kind of harness. To achieve his climbing skills, he says that he watched monkeys climb trees and analyzed the stunts from movies.
Impressive and dangerous. Hope he sticks to it good ;)

India’s Lake Palace is a luxury hotel of 83 rooms and 17 suites featuring white marble walls. It is located on a natural foundation of 4 acres (16,000 m2) rock on the Jag Niwas island in Lake Pichola, Udaipur, India. It’s very famous and lots of celebrities visited it but now, the India’s Lake Palace lost its lake after an unprecedented drought…
And what was once one of the favourite hotels of the rich and famous and known as one of the most romantic retreats in the world is not so romantic anymore with its dried lands.
Not only it’s a shame because it was really beautiful but it’s gonna be a big problem for the local economy and the local population which depends on tourism.
You will see inside the post how the Palace looked before and now, when there is no more water.

No, this is not a strange name. It is a harsh reality.
The developing countries do not recycle any of plastic packaging; they simply throw it on the streets.
But the plastic doesn’t decompose. Ever.
If it goes like this, soon, we will all sink in it.

A baby elephant was hit by a train in India.
With the help of a crane, the injured animal was taken to the local zoo for treatment.
It’s not an easy work to transport, even a small elephant!

This is the life in Mumbai (not everywhere, of course).
Even a nuclear war wouldn’t change anything in those districts …It’s hard to see something worse than that.
