Adrian Reeman, 53, has worked for 23 year in order to make his Southampton apartment in a tower block look like a little Palace of Versailles but “less roomy” :) It is just impressive how much patience and efforts it needed. That’s why I could never do that ;)  Looking at this house from afar, many freeze in amazement and wonder how it looks from inside? The palace is built in the Russian baroque style and it is very luxurious. It’s not for nothing that it is called a palace ;)  Palais Bulles (Bubble Palace) is a home to famous French stylist Pierre Cardin. Amazing architecture and its size is stunning. The house is facing the bay of Cannes and has a territory of 1,200m² and gardens and swimming pools spread on 8,500m ² territory. I might say, it is something out of this world, maybe not the most beautiful but I wouldn’t mind to spend there some time ))  Surprisingly enough, but this green ceiling is made from ... 1,600,000 jewel beetles. It is situated in the Royal Palace in Brussels and called Heaven Of Delight. The ceiling was created by the Flemish artist Jan Fabre, previously known for his works from blood, semen and insects. Thirty people assisted him and it took four months to glue all the bugs. It’s a horror, of course. But it’s called art anyway.  India’s Lake Palace is a luxury hotel of 83 rooms and 17 suites featuring white marble walls. It is located on a natural foundation of 4 acres (16,000 m2) rock on the Jag Niwas island in Lake Pichola, Udaipur, India. It’s very famous and lots of celebrities visited it but now, the India’s Lake Palace lost its lake after an unprecedented drought… And what was once one of the favourite hotels of the rich and famous and known as one of the most romantic retreats in the world is not so romantic anymore with its dried lands. Not only it’s a shame because it was really beautiful but it’s gonna be a big problem for the local economy and the local population which depends on tourism. You will see inside the post how the Palace looked before and now, when there is no more water.  It is likely that the hotel Burj Al Arab has now a worthy opponent. Mardan Palace is the most expensive hotel in Europe (the construction cost to its owners €1.4 billion) and it is situated in the popular Turkish resort town of Antalya. The hotel has 560 rooms which cost from $ 475 up to $ 19, 000 (the most expensive rooms come along with private swimming pool, huge TV, concert grand piano and other stuff).
