5 Parisians inhabit an apartment built by Swedish furniture company IKEA inside a Paris subway station for 6 days, from Jan. 9 to 14. The 581 square feet (54 square meters) apartment is located in Auber station and equipped with IKEA items. Now all Auber metro station passers-by can see the five housemates and their daily activities from morning to night through the glass walls.
Paris Hilton has started doing her 200 hours of community service. She was pleaded guilty to drug possession and obstructing a police officer in August, and she got 1 year probation that includes community service and enrollment in a substance abuse treatment program. The latest hobby of many fashion designers is to ask plus-sized models to introduce their clothes at a fashion show. This time Paris Fashion Week’s guests were surprised to see Beth Ditto appearing at the catwalk in tight dresses and costumes created by grand couturier Jean Paul Gaultier. Unlike the usual 'plus-sized models' - who are size 14 or 16 - Beth is around a size 28.
According to Gaultier, Paris Fashion Week 2010 demonstrates the contrast difference between the worlds of XXL and XXS.
