Gretna Green is a Scottish village famous for the bird “air shows”. Each year European starlings migrate to wintering in Scotland. Flocks of these birds soar and form bizarre shapes in the sky as if they were dancing. Many come to witness their unusual twists in the air.

This is Barra Airport, a short-runway airport situated in the wide shallow bay of the island of Barra, Scotland. The airport is unique, being the only one in the world where scheduled flights use a beach as the runway. At high tide these runways are under the sea - flight times vary with the tide. The aerodrome is not licensed for night use.

Every year in the town of Kirkwall, in Orkney, Scotland an annual major event takes place. It is called Kirkwall Ba Game which is the traditional football games. It is played everywhere in the United Kingdom.
I read and reread what this game is about and was confused a little bit by its rules. What I understood is that this game is played on the streets and the team is determined by the street you come from and there are up to 200 people playing the ball.
You can read more about it here.

On June 14 on a Knockhill race track in Scotland, the pilot behind the wheel of the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera tried to pass the good old Subaru.
Not only his attempt ended at the hospital but he also almost ran over one of the photographers. The latter, obviously, was a very lucky man.

Kelburn Castle is a large house in Scotland.
It is the seat of the Earl of Glasgow. Originally built in the thirteenth century it was remodelled in the sixteenth century.
In 2007, after experts told the owners that the concrete facing would eventually need to be replaced to avoid further damage to the stone walls, the Earl invited graffiti artists to paint the walls.
