Dominique Gisin of Switzerland crashed heavily in the women's downhill at Vancouver Olympic Games. These are the photos of her fall and of some other dangerous moments. ![]() This underground house situated in Vals, Switzerland, offers a stunning view of the mountains around. The house is buried almost completely into one side of a hill but it has an oblique opening for light to better come into it. In fact, all of the rooms wrap around the interior courtyard. It must be cool to live there and have this beautiful view each day… )) ![]() It’s the biggest Swiss flag in the world and certainly one of the biggest flags in the world (the second behind is the Israeli one, I think,). Saturday, August 1st, was the Swiss National Day and for the occasion, they mounted on mountain Saentis the largest Swiss flag ever. It measures 120 meters by 120 meters (14.400 m²) – that’s huge! Here is an impressive way of celebrating the National Day, so don’t miss it, take a look on the pics inside the post. ![]() The first zero-star hotel has been recently opened in Switzerland. There are no TVs, no separate bathrooms, daylight, in short, there is practically nothing at all ;) So, would someone like to spend a few days there? ![]() |
