Look at his right arm. It’s huge! And now, look at his left arm. It’s ridiculously small in comparison. It’s rather cool to be a champion of arm wrestling, but I would not like to be disproportionate like that! I’m sure people often make him the joke about masturbating... ![]() Karl Merk, a 54-year-old German farmer, who last year in July received the world's first operation of double arm transplant, appeared before reporters. Both arms of Karl Merk were amputated to shoulder after an accident at work, but the doctors did a real miracle. The arms were taken from a young man who died in a car accident. According to medics, it will take about two years to fully restore the functions of the arms. ![]() Designed by Viennese artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, this incredible building was erected in Germany and called the Waldspirale or wooded spiral. All the windows are unique, which number is over 1000: no two windows are the same. Similarly, different handles are attached in each apartment to the doors and windows. Everything is unique in there, it is U-shaped and its facade painting is awesome. It contains 105 apartments, a parking garage, a kiosk as well as a café and a bar (the last two being located at the top of the spiral). The inner courtyard contains a playground for the children of the residents and a small artificial lake. It’s the whole package. I’d love to live there :) ![]() Nick Vujicic, 26, was born without arms and legs, but nothing and nobody can stop this brave guy. Despite the absence of limbs, he is doing surf and swimming, and playing golf and soccer. This is what it means to have the real strength of mind! We already posted the video with Nick, but I also posted it at the bottom of the post, this completes the article perfectly I guess, don’t miss it. ![]() A very interesting experiment with the use of various firearms. Look, what will happen to the helmet when it is shot from a distance of 25 feet. ![]() By looking at the first photo, you probably think you understand why the article is called this way. But this is not quite true and if you look a little closely this same photo, you may notice that something’s wrong. ![]() This is the second part of birds with human arms. Another selection which is really well done. However, if it were possible, the poor birds could no longer fly and it would be kind of creepy ;) You can watch the first part HERE ![]() Chuck, the incredibly amusing dog of Heather Armstrong, a well-known blogger of Dooce. She regularly updates her blog where she publishes almost every day the photographs of her pet. After the jumps, you’ll see all the funny shots of Chuck )) ![]() |
