Just 3 months after this ship was grounded on a reef off the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island and about 350 tons of fuel-oil leaked into the sea, it decided to end its life. Container ship Rena broke into two and sank.

A small towboat is able to pull a huge ship. But it’s not the biggest surprise with bulky cargo shipping. I was surprised to see that even an oil rig can be transported over the sea.

You aren’t the only one surprised that this gargantuan airplane can take flight. Someone has to have faith in 80s Ukrainian engineering, considering this aircraft was built in the 1980s at the Antonov Development Lab. Known as “Mria” or “a dream” this huge flying building can carry a Mack truck and holds up to 250 tons, which makes it the best flight to take for an epic party.

All the photos were shot for the project “Contraband”. Some of these counterfeit and prohibited items are weird, others are just hilarious.
