A student made this great wooden case for his computer using only basic tools like a chisel and files. In this tutorial he explains how he did it and assures that anyone can do what he did as he didn't have any experience in woodworking or computers.
In the days before kindles and smartphones changed the way we read books, people used to have to carry their books around and this old relic used was used during the 17th Century for this purpose.
Some guys from Russia made a superb looking PC case that is inspired by the design of WWI British tank Mark V.

A guy from Russia enjoyed the Pixar animation film so much, that he decided to create this amazing case for a tiny Intel Atom motherboard. It took only 18 days to make the fully metal case, the CAD renderings of which were based on screenshots from the movie.
Even if it doesn’t protect you, this rugged case is supposed to withstand the roughest handling of your iPhone.

I don’t know if you need a case mod that looks like WALL-E and moves around as if it were alive, but it surely looks awesome and unique. It was constructed by Thechoozen from Germany. Don’t forget to watch the video inside this post to see what this case mod can do.

Can we actually call it a case mod, if there’s no case? I dunno, but it still is quite different from what we’ve seen so far in computer modifications. This one is fixed on a wall and all cables, components and other stuff can directly be seen. It’s an interesting idea but it’s not very aesthetics…
