All these cars found their final resting place at the Autrofriedhof in Switzerland. Photographer Thomas Margelist captured their modern looks and spirit.

Apparently, these 1000 cars were confiscated by the Chinese police because of the licence plate expiration.

Few suspect that in central London in Hyde Park hides pet cemetery in the shade of trees. It is very old. Wealthy Londoners began to bury their pets there back in the Victorian era, in 1880s and by 1915 it had already been filled. This corner of the park is fenced and closed to visitors.

These are some beautiful cemetery sculptures. Many are of angels, some are older than others, some are realistic, and they all are incredible. It took some truly gifted artists to sculpt these wonderful sculptures.

It’s difficult to believe that ice-cream flavors also die. They even have their cemetery. It’s located in Vermont, New England.

Here there is a well-known Waterbury factory that produces Ben&Jerry’s ice cream. As the new flavors emerge every year, the old and unpopular ones have to die. Their memory is honored on the Flavor Cemetery built especially for these needs. So far there are 2 hundreds of tombstones featuring different wacky flavors and an artist-written epitaph to each taste.

The most unusual thing that you can do is to bring “deceased” ice-cream flavors back to the world of living by asking for them on the company’s official site.

Airplanes also die, like people, and they rest in peace in cemeteries for decades. These photos of American airplanes were taken in Mojave Desert known as the biggest in the USA  airplane graveyard. All photos were taken at night, but the lighting effects make them look fantastic!

Russians know how to surprise the world. For instance, while most people enjoy taking pictures with people who are alive, the leader of the Federal Project «Russian Necropolis» Izyaslav Tveretskiy loves to take pictures on the cemeteries.
