These photos reminded me how much I hate these things...   A couple with their two year-old daughter went to a lion safari park. They were observing them from the car, knowing that they were safe. They were looking at the lion that walked around and looked at the car windows.  In the British Royal Family not only titles are transmitted by inheritance, but also the striking similarity of family members with their royal ancestors. Sometimes it seems that cloning was used though it is not possible. Now let's look at the photos. Don’t they look freakingly similar to you? ;)  Spot the difference: Mary (1867-1953), King George V's consort, and granddaughter Queen Elizabeth II Fresh portion of funny, amusing, unusual and slightly weird photos from family albums. If you want more, check out the first part.  You need a good amount of money to buy a swimming pool, but if there is not enough money (or you want to save), there is a simple solution to this. And that is exactly what the father of a family did...  This series of photos is a project by Carl Kiilsgaard, an American photographer, called The White Family. The White family lives below the poverty line in a mobile home in eastern Kentucky and Carl Kiilsgaard has been visiting them for three years to document the rural poverty in the region through the eyes of this family. Carl became an EPF finalist with his project. Some pictures are not easy to see but in all it’s a great work. Here’s what he says about it: “I would like my photographs to ask questions rather than present answers, to unlock emotions, and to be a part of the increasing dialogue in America dealing with social rights of the working and lower class.”  Although there were few photos, I have decided to make a post. Just look how cute they are: the cane and her two ducklings ))  Look what the poor cat had to do to get home and see his family. Kudos for perseverance) At the last picture, you can see how high he had to climb.  The Margay is a spotted cat native to Central and South America. The Margay can weigh about 6.6–20 lbs, have a body length of 45 to 80 cm and a tail length of 33 to 51 cm. Its ankles can turn up to 180 degrees, it can grasp branches equally well with its fore and hind paws, and it is able to jump considerable distances. The Margay has been observed to hang from branches with only one foot.  A family of five persons lives in this extraordinary house carved in a rock. The house surface is big enough and the way the house is arranged inside is just great. We’ve posted already an entry about this same house, if I am not mistaken, but at the time it was for sale and we are not sure if it was sold or the same owners still possess the house. In any case, the house is really good to go there in summer and in winter for Christmas ))  Super great selection of funny, unusual pictures from family albums. Absolutely to see!  How can a big family go somewhere if they don’t have a car and don’t have much money? Well, as you will see, there are no problems, only solutions. But I wouldn’t have risked to do that.  There is nothing to say here, it's enough to look at the pictures and everything will be clear. There are very few people like the husband of this woman. And they have a true love. A very touching story.  Big respect for these people. Sometimes it’s not easy to have one child and having 10 – it must be something. But they seem to be one happy and solid family. That is the most important ))  It is difficult to believe by looking at these pictures that all of them were in orphan houses and nobody cared about them. It is hard to believe that they looked completely different… Look the way they were when their adoptive parents saw them for the first time. A little time has passed and now these boys and girls are unrecognizable! It’s a real miracle…   One Argentinean family had a very interesting idea. They made one picture per year of themselves. The first photographs were taken back in 1976. It is interesting to see how they change physically over the years.    These big cats are so cute along with their offspring ))  Recently in one American family, the head of the family lost his job. But, one week later his wife won a house $2 million worth in a lottery. Now couple decides what to do the best: leave the house or take its money’s worth.  |
