Alonzo Carter is the San Jose State football team’s first-year running backs coach. But before that he was a back-up dancer and choreographer for MC Hammer who helped create the moves for the famous 1990 song that most of his team probably don’t even know.
But, as their clubs are too wise to do so, football think tank CIES Football Observatory had to find out scientifically which football players are the most valuable. They considered these factors to evaluate players from Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1:
Player performance: The quality and consistency of their form
Player performance in relation to their club: Are they the star player?
International status: How established are they for their country?
Contract: Players with longer deals are more expensive
Age: Younger players command higher fees
Position: Goal scorers are more expensive than goalkeepers.
That’s how the Ugandan security conducted body search of fans entering the stadium to catch a game between Uganda Cranes and Burkina Faso’s Stallions. And from the looks of it, the security takes their job very seriously, especially when it comes to women. It looks more like groping than searching. Just saying…
