These days, you would never see such advertisements. But it is sure fun to look at them today. Some of the advertisements are for products that are still available, other are for products that have long been discontinued but they are all very weird.
The reasons why someone would write a love note on cardboard are unclear. However these love notes are sweet, cute, and inspirational. It must be a nice surprise to find a piece of cardboard and find one of these original love notes.

For years now it has become popular for loving couples to write messages on a padlock and attach them to certain landmarks. This is done all over the world. It shows a couple’s undying love for one another and supposedly brings good luck.
