Some things happen so fast they we can’t see the details. But high speed photography allows us discovering amazing events unnoticed in the blink of an eye. High speed photographers have their own techniques on how to freeze events in time, for example by using flash exposures that create a flash lasting just 1 microsecond or a millionth of a second. It’s very quickly! Inside this post you can find a photo collection of the best moments caught by high speed photographers.  The mysterious Tower of the Devil, known as Devils Tower, is located in northeastern Wyoming in the United States. Its height is over 1,266 ft., which is comparable with the height of the Empire State Building, which is about 1,250 ft. without the spire. The rock formed about 65 million years ago by volcanic activity, and is unusually shaped in the form of woman’s hips which was the result of erosion of the surrounding soft rock around a strong internal structure.  These photos give one a retro look at our visions of the future from yesteryear thru the artwork from Soviet and European popular tech and science magazine illustrations dating from the ‘30s thru the ‘70s. In other words what we thought the future would look like when we thought about it years ago. They provide an interesting perspective of where we are and what we can expect in the future.  A person would be hard pressed to tell if the subjects in these photos are little girls or little women. With all the makeup and high fashion it is very difficult to tell. If you look close enough you will be able to tell what is going on. Well, maybe after a couple looks. First part: Child beauty pageant (13 pics + 1 video)  Monkeys are truly amazing animals. There high wire antics as shown in these photos prove that. They have extraordinary balancing ability and seem to defy gravity. It would appear that only their amazing skill and the grace of the monkey that keep them aloft.  I’m always amazed by this kind of photography, it never gets old! Now the topic is ‘when you smoked, you don’t see things the way it should be’   I have no words. One gets the impression that the world has gone mad. It is even scary to imagine what would happen next. Just look at this person, you’ll see what I mean...  There are lots of types of highway interchanges. You will find here most of them. You can see a lot of high-speed photography now on the Internet, but I must say this series is by far my favorite, it’s very colorful and the shots are just amazing. A model fell on the catwalk on September 29 during Milan Fashion Show Week, but…  The Turk Sultan Kosen has become officially the tallest man in the world on Thursday, September 17, having the size of two meters and 47 centimeters. It will be put into the Guinness World Records in the edition of 2010. Now let’s look at pictures and a video with this giant.  A small plane made an emergency landing on US Highway 101 about one mile northeast of the Santa Barbara Airport. Unfortunately, it was unable to avoid a collision with three cars, but in this incident, no one was seriously injured.  The Freitag Shop in Zurich is not only the tallest building in the world built from shipping containers, but also the tallest building of all other buildings in Zurich. It was built from 17 old rusty shipping containers, it’s 85 foot high and the structure is a real environmental effort. The shop is full of eco-friendly products.  These are great places for real fans of bungee jumping. And would you jump from a height of several hundred meters with a rope?   Heinz Zak is known for his highline walking without a pole thousands of feet up and demonstrates the perfect act of balance. He gives an impression that he knows no fear.
