Some things happen so fast they we can’t see the details. But high speed photography allows us discovering amazing events unnoticed in the blink of an eye. High speed photographers have their own techniques on how to freeze events in time, for example by using flash exposures that create a flash lasting just 1 microsecond or a millionth of a second. It’s very quickly! Inside this post you can find a photo collection of the best moments caught by high speed photographers. ![]() The mysterious Tower of the Devil, known as Devils Tower, is located in northeastern Wyoming in the United States. Its height is over 1,266 ft., which is comparable with the height of the Empire State Building, which is about 1,250 ft. without the spire. The rock formed about 65 million years ago by volcanic activity, and is unusually shaped in the form of woman’s hips which was the result of erosion of the surrounding soft rock around a strong internal structure. ![]() These photos give one a retro look at our visions of the future from yesteryear thru the artwork from Soviet and European popular tech and science magazine illustrations dating from the ‘30s thru the ‘70s. In other words what we thought the future would look like when we thought about it years ago. They provide an interesting perspective of where we are and what we can expect in the future. ![]() A person would be hard pressed to tell if the subjects in these photos are little girls or little women. With all the makeup and high fashion it is very difficult to tell. If you look close enough you will be able to tell what is going on. Well, maybe after a couple looks. They have extraordinary balancing ability and seem to defy gravity.
