Every KidZania is themed as a child-sized replica of a real city, including buildings, shops and theaters, as well as vehicles and pedestrians moving along its streets. In this city, children, aged 2 through 14, learn about the adult world, the value of money and work, by experiencing up to 70 different professions. Every “professional” activity lasts 30 minutes and parents don’t have the right to interrupt or to interfere in any other manner while their offspring is “working”. It proofed to be so successful that the other Kidzanias appeared throughout the world. Tokyo was the third city to create a replica city for children in October 2006. The first year of operations had 905,000 visitors, and has been keeping steady.
