All this crowd here has come to meet prospective employers, recruiters. Frankly, it’s quite a show with so many job seekers. While there is nothing particularly surprising as China is having the largest population in the world.  As a result of a rare birth defect that affects the hip bone, Joby Mathew’s legs are under-developed, a condition caused by Proximal Fimoral Focal Deficiency (PFFD). But apparently he copes well without them, because at his 33 years old, Joby is a world champion arm wrestler. Moreover, in the near future he plans to climb Everest. I really respect such people. Hope he will make it!  I don’t know how it happened, but you don’t see that everyday.  KidZania is a Mexican chain of family entertainment centers currently operating in 6 locations. Every KidZania is themed as a child-sized replica of a real city, including buildings, shops and theaters, as well as vehicles and pedestrians moving along its streets. In this city, children, aged 2 through 14, learn about the adult world, the value of money and work, by experiencing up to 70 different professions. Every “professional” activity lasts 30 minutes and parents don’t have the right to interrupt or to interfere in any other manner while their offspring is “working”. It proofed to be so successful that the other Kidzanias appeared throughout the world. Tokyo was the third city to create a replica city for children in October 2006. The first year of operations had 905,000 visitors, and has been keeping steady. So here are pictures from the Japanese KidZania!  Here is a photo journal of 2 guys who went to work in Alaska as fishermen. It was a tough job and they did not make a lot of money but they said it was a great adventure to experience.
