New York Times Magazine has published an excellent photoshoot of actors winners of Golden Globes Award this year. Pictures are very beautiful! Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana  The photos in this post display all of the latest play action dolls of today and yesteryear. It is amazing how realistic some of them are. Gee, kids today are sure lucky to get to play with such fun looking figures. What an alternative to video games.  Michael Paul Smith has created some amazing models of an entire city, complete with automobiles and buildings as are shown it these photos. The objects are all to 1/24th and are so realistic it is hard to believe that Photoshop was not used in their creations. Most people believe they are too realistic not to be fake. Michael is truly an artist and my hat is off to him. Job well done!  Nice work. Its creator used only Lego bricks and lights to make this realistic fire. Just look..  You will see a compilation of more than 100 video game consoles. There are also computers in this series but they could play video games too and some people used them more for gaming than anything else at the time… You will find in this list portable consoles, accessories, packages…etc too! It should bring back memories even to the oldest of you. A great list. Enjoy!  Some men look better as a woman or at least they think so. But despite all odds, transvestites are quite in demand, they are constantly invited to various night clubs, casinos and all sorts of shows. When I read about 800 bucks, I was trying really hard to find the one that could cost 800 bucks. I could not find her. Maybe you can? Others are very simple but so true. But no matter what, I love unrealistic games ))  Adam Stennett is an artist based in New York (born in Alaska, in 1972). Stennett has made lots of exhibitions and is known for his realistic works. As mentioned in the title, Trondheim (Norway) is the first city in the world equipped with a lift made especially for cyclists. The lift is called Trampe and allows you to go easily and without much effort on top of a very steep hill. Since its opening in 1993, the Trampe has pushed more than 220.000 cyclists on the top of the hill. To see how the Trampe works, check out the whole post.  He was the first, in front of everybody and it remained a few meters before the finish. Having decided that victory was already in his pocket, he lifted his arms triumphantly, but his joy was too quick. As the saying goes "it ain't over 'til it's over."  These are amazing 3D art works from CGsociety. Some of them are too realistic almost no way to tell that it is computer graphics.  Sergey Zverev, 46, is a Russian hairdresser, stylist, singer…etc quite famous in Russia but young people over there don’t really like him and often make fun of him. That’s why we can find lots of photoshopped pictures of him on the Internet. Look what Russian photoshoppers have made after the jump.  You have maybe heard the story about naturalist Casey Anderson and his best friend and best man bear – Brutus. I’m always fascinated with such stories of true friendship between people and animals. It may be unnatural but somewhere it’s the way it is supposed to be. Casey saved Brutus the grizzly cub from being euthanized when he was born in an overpopulated wildlife park. Since then, he brought up Brutus and they became real pals. Brutus has always his place at the family table during holidays and he even was Casey’s best man )). Inside the post, you will see incredible pictures of this incredible friendship   In spite of their appearance, these people could become rich and famous. Some of them were born this way, you can’t do much about it, but some of them made themselves ugly on their own. So, let’s start ... Michael Jackson Did you really expect anyone else? Michael Jackson used to be a successful black singer, but took it upon himself to destroy his face and reputation. He now looks like an albino alien whose nose appears to change on a daily basis. Just goes to show you what can happen if you are too critical of your looks... you can end up an albino alien like Mike.  Ron Mueck is an Australian hyperrealist sculptor working in Great Britain. Mueck's sculptures faithfully reproduce the minute detail of the human body, but play with scale to produce disconcertingly jarring visual images. Great works. Just need to see it!  |
