Markus Persson, aka Notch, the creator of Minecraft who is now a billionaire since he sold his company to Microsoft (in September for $2.5 billion), has purchased (apparently in cash) this mansion located in Beverly Hills, California, for the modest sum of 70 million dollars.
It's the most expensive house in Beverly Hills but hey, it's a good deal, this luxury mansion was originally on sale for $85 million!
It has taken 19 months for two people to design this cityscape that has over 250 skyscrapers and is inspired by art, science, music and movies.
Matt and Asia are the big fans of the popular multi-player game Minecraft. They met each other in its digital world and built there a house together. When the young people eventually decided to marry, they styled the place for the wedding ceremony so that it looked absolutely like the game location.
