Dali’s works are truly awesome, you can spend a long time looking at them, because there is a lot to see in each painting, plenty of little and ingenious details that make his works unique.
I love it.

The story of this blind artist is extraordinary and unbelievable. Professional CPA with a photographic memory, Lisa Fittipaldi lost her vision due to a vascular disease in 1993. She lost her job too, but overcame blindness and began painting in 1995. Her paintings are so colorful and bright; it’s hard to believe that they were drawn by a blind person who can’t even see colors or distance. The main challenge to Lisa was when she was told she could never create complex scenes of everyday life with people as main characters. But she managed to do so, and today her paintings are exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. Fittipaldi is a unique artist with an amazing inner vision. You can judge for yourself after the jump.

These are paintings made thanks to the Brushes application on an iPad.
The artist David Kassan says that he used this same app on iPhone and that it is not quite the same: "This seems to be more about sculpting the painting and it gives the artist more of a feel for the subject matter and composition. The larger screen obviously helps. The options for colour correction and control are far improved from the iPhone."
Maybe he’s right, but I can say that iPhone paintings that I saw are also awesome.

These are paintings from different authors and they look as if they were photographs.
I know that for many it is easier to buy a digital camera and make photos but as for me, it takes a big talent to approach to such realism as this, to be able to recreate in perfect, coherent details what you see. A camera is an easy way for people who don’t care, for an artist, it is the meaning of being an artist.
Hats off to all of them for these wonderful artworks!

These are works of Japanese painter Tetsuya Ishida. He painted scenes of ordinary Japanese life, but with the protagonist (a self portrait) always trapped in a machine-like body, or treated as part of a production line.
Tetsuya Ishida died in 2005 after being hit by a train (possibly suicide).

Here’s a little selection of animals who know how to hold a brush and do some abstract art.
Most of them are trained, of course, but some of them felt an artist inside them, took the brush and started to create their own artworks.
Like this dog Sammy who lives with his owner in Maryland. His owner said that Sammy started to paint after his owner attached a brush to his rubber bone. Recently some of his works were sold for $1,700. Not bad for a dog, huh? ;)

The amazing oil paintings in these photos are the work of Paul Robert and they really show off his incredible artistic talent. Most are so lifelike they appear to be photographs. His attention to detail makes his paintings photorealistic.
