Plastic or polymer banknotes were first developed by the Reserve Bank of Australia in 1988. Advantages of such banknotes are quite obvious: they last significantly longer than paper notes, have lesser environmental impact, a reduced cost of production and replacement and incorporate many security features not available to paper banknotes, including the use of metameric inks. The United Kingdom, Chile, Nicaragua, Republic of Maldives and some other countries have introduced plastic banknotes into circulation too. Here are the best looking plastic banknotes out there.
The world’s most hardcore Superman fan is probably a Filipino man by the name of Herbert Chavez, who went through actual plastic surgery to look like the flying superhero. His first surgery was back in 1995, with surgeries and procedures including rhinoplasty, silicone lip injections and thigh implants. Chavez also has a substantial collection of Superman memorabilia, and not surprisingly may suffer from Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
Carla Bruni has had so many plastic surgeries that she now almost looks like a cat woman. It is hard to believe that she was once a rather pretty woman. It makes a person wonder why they would go to so much trouble to look so bad.
These photos were taken of celebrities before and after they had plastic surgery. The after photos of most of them are disastrous. Although plastic surgery has worked wonders for some celebrities, for others it has to be a living nightmare.
In Hollywood, plastic surgery is perhaps the worst kept secret around. While some stars readily admit to having plastic surgery, others are less forthcoming which leaves us all guessing. Although it is obvious that some celebrities have had some work done it takes a trained eye to determine if others have. See of you can tell who has and who hasn’t by looking at these photos.
