This beautiful device is called a sunshine recorder and true to its name, it records the amount of sunshine at a given location. The sunshine recorder uses either the sun itself as a time scale or a clock. The brilliance of the recorder lies in the fact that a glass sphere focuses the sun’s rays on a card inside the ball which in turn measures the sunshine.

People get so creative when trying to explain scientific facts in a fun and easy-to-understand way. Even though their explanations are completely false, they will still make your laugh.

I still don’t understand why people would make such tattoos, but probably their love for science is so strong they want to make it public.

Even though these science fair projects aren’t real, they are hilarious and superb! Funny ideas that made me laugh :)

It appears from these photos that scientists are really making bionic animals and insects. I wonder which of these concepts might really make it from Photoshop to the engineering lab. Perhaps someday someone will make these science fiction animals and insects a reality.
