A Floating Instrument Platform (FLIP) ship is a floating instrument platform and manned research vessel that is 355 feet long. The FLIP has been widely used to study the acoustics of whales and other marine mammals, the effects of seismic waves on the water, and heat exchange between the atmosphere and the ocean. It works by being towed out to sea and having one end submerged. The instruments and crew are located in a portion of the ship that remains above the surface of the ocean. This giant ship is most impressive. ![]() Another great set of funny Google Search suggestions. Some made my day! You can see that only on Google.. :)) Previous parts: Part 1 (15 screens) Part 2 (39 screens) Part 3 (34 screens) ![]() Sydney, Australia. More than 3,000 girls participated in Plus-Size model search. The requirements for plus-size models are no different from those of high-fashion models, excepting in larger overall bust-waist-hip measurements; they must have excellent skin, hair, and teeth, and emote well to the camera. The US size for Plus-Size model is over 14 and British – over 16. ![]() Some researches are so funny it seems as if people wrote it on purpose to see what would come up ;))) Some people search for secret sauce recipes, hmmm and others learn that France is actually a country. Happily, we have Google for all this stuff ;)) ![]() In the left column you will see questions from ordinary people and in the right column, you will see that some people are asking egghead questions :) ![]() A funny costume. Except that it did not work. The researcher in costume was stuck in a swamp. Though, the costume is less elaborated than in Ace Ventura ;) ![]() |
