Megavolt electric charges are flashing in the sky during the storm over Albuquerque, New Mexico.

NASA released composite image of the night sky with over half a billion stars stitched together from 2.7 million pictures.

One driver’s dashcam caught an accident that occurred at an electric plant in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I can’t imagine what these drivers thought was happening…

These photos of skies are captured as sunrises or sunsets by Eric Cahan. Photographer uses 4 different cameras ranging from 6 x 7 film to digital. Employing dozens of graduated filters traditionally used by filmmakers, his objective is to create a window into a time and a place, and to demonstrate how memories and colors shift and become abstract.

These are some rockets that are flying across the Russian sky. They are beautiful as they cross the Russian night sky. It is actually amazing what man has accomplished in such a short time. They make for some incredible lights in the sky.

At least that’s what these villagers in China thought at first. Then they didn’t know what to think. Then maybe they thought it was something supernatural. As it turns out it was a lunar probe Chang’s II’s rocket. 

I saw many different installations created using people as “paints”. But American artist Daniel Dancer did much more than this. His art combines latex paints and people to make giant images on the Earth. He sometimes invites over 4,000 volunteers to implement his idea into life. This sky art is stunning!

This is a Japanese park called Hitachi Seaside Park. It is a big Park with numerous areas for different family activities - bike tracks (bikes for hire), sporting fields, Frisbee golf, rides, large ferris wheel. There is also a zoo, amusement park, swimming pool and much more.

Best seen (and busiest) in spring when daffodils are out in force along with many other flower gardens in bloom.

This British pensioner was lucky. When he got out of his car, something flew from above, broke through his windshield and landed onto the passenger seat.
