It's been almost 5 years since the horrible accident happened at the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant which was caused by the tsunami triggered by the earthquake on March 11, 2011. This tragic event took away about 18,000 lives... Japan is still trying to recover after this tragedy.

The strong storm that hit the state of Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday (11) left hundreds dead and thousands of homeless survivors and displaced people, mainly in the mountainous region. The cityes of Nova Friburgo, Teresopolis and Petrópolis were most affected. Services such as water, electricity and telephone were stopped, roads were blocked, bridges collapsed and were isolated neighborhoods.

The family of Kiki Vo used to live in Vietnam. She and her family had a horrific fire years ago. It burned three of five sisters and took the life of their mother. The father with his girls moved to the USA to help his daughters receive necessary treatment. He died last November leaving his girls in the care of community guardians.
