The caricature is propaganda. USA has the most wars today in the world. They have HAARP, which is claimed to be able to control the weather.
As Obama got Nobel Prize for nothing, in Haiti they are now saving what they destroyed (like 9/11).

The United States gives more to world charities, per capita, than any other nation on earth. You can hate the U.S.A. all you want, but it won't change the fact that it is the single most giving and responsive nation on the planet. No one else even comes close.

That's not correct. Norway f.ex. paid down its foreign debt during the 1990s and is not saving money in a national wealth fund. This is currently somewhere around the size of 450 billion dollars.
