I still don't know how to cook heroin from this post, didn't want to and still don't. However if I'd end up using I'd at least have good advice on how to do it right and what to do if something went wrong. Most addicts don't have that luxury, and those who do got it with experience so the damage is usually done in those cases.
IMHO I think most, if not all, future heroin users will use heroin for reasons other than these fliers. These fliers on the other hand can prevent HIV infections and other heroin induced sicknesses and fatalities.
Information instead of intimidation I always say. Scare tactics are useless.
This is great.... it doesnt encourage use (would YOU use after reading this? no!) but for addicts it's lifesaving and invaluable... I'm glad too see the US trying to reduce the REAL harms of drug use instead of spewing propoganda about "protecting the children" and wahtdnot...
These exist, and are needed, as are these. They don't encourage doing it, they just help the people who were gonna do it anyway do it right without doing themselves, others and society extra damage. Like other health advice, this kind of information should be freely made available to everyone who needs it. Too bad your government's full of people like you...
Yup, I think the more you know, the safer you are. This is right in the same way as teaching safe sex between men (when being gay was still illegal), just because you're breaking the law doesn't mean you should be denied information and put at risk.
Jesse, You really think that a junkie's life is worth saving? All these junkies and addicts, especially drug addicts are a society's plague and sooner or later will kill themseleves with these abominations, so why trying to slow the process. They are pathetic and trying to provide them with the information how to shoot safly is rediculous. If you want to be safe, don't use drugs... AT ALL. Simple as that. Cheers
I'm only 14 and I really think drugs are bad. I think fliers like this help to spread around the notion that drugs are okay, which they're not! I probably go to school with your children and i know for a fact they probably do things like this. Fliers like that promote drug use to children, it doesn't shield them from it.
Cody, nice try, troll. I'll give you 1/10 for effort. carol, good for you. Stay away from drugs (including alcohl and tobacco).
Anyone who thinks this would promote drug use, has never been exposed to users. A pamphlet on safe use is going to make you want to shoot up about as much as a first aid guide would make you want to get in an accident.
So, please don't be so ignorant (this includes you, IZI!). It is a good thing that people are trying to minimize the harm that some poor souls are doing to themselves.
to, pistol you're calling me a troll just because my opinion differs from yours? You're one funny prick. Let's just agree that we don't agree. Talking about ignorance, you compare this guide of shooting drugs to a first aid guide, yeah right, great resemblance, how logical you are! Plus, don't you know that plenty of teens like to experiment a lot these days and those who's thinking about trying heroin but afraid to do so may find some help in this guide, saying to themselves that’s it's safe!

Well spoken. Ignorance is bliss but only for those cursed by it.
