Masai warriors, riot policemen, amateur artists and different tribes live in Kenya nowadays. Inside this post you can find spectacular photos of wild nature and “modern” African settlements. Kenya has faced many different situations: conflicts, financial and economic problems, etc. This most developed African country has an interesting history, and these photos describe it in the brightest colors.

Ethnic stereotypes that were used in first Tom & Jerry cartoons were cut out in 1950s. Blackfaces, impressions of Chinese and Red Indians became the victims of political correctness and were removed. Many scenes had to be redrawn in 10 years. Mammy maid was turned into a white person. Lillian Randolph’s voice was replaced by another voice actress June Foray. However since movie stores kept pictures and sound reels separately, the voice sometimes didn’t match up the correct Tom & Jerry version and white maid spoke with Mammy’s voice.

The amazing oil paintings in these photos are the work of Paul Robert and they really show off his incredible artistic talent. Most are so lifelike they appear to be photographs. His attention to detail makes his paintings photorealistic.

Some people have some strange pets and do some even stranger things with them. In these photos, the people are walking some of the strangest pets ever as if they were their dogs. Some of these animals are even dangerous. I wonder what the neighbors think of that.

I am sure that most of us imagine children’s books in colorful and bright covers that teach kids to behave and respect others. However modern and even some of the old books are concentrated on other things like sex and drugs; authors even use curse words to get your attention. We have already posted examples of unconventional books. This is another collection of pictures that is devoted to so-called inappropriate books for children.
