Real quick about the seeing into the past thing; the only way that would work is if you used the telescope from the position of the mirror assuming you could get there instantly. Light reflected off the mirror would take an amount of time to reach earth equal to its distance in light years from earth (since that's what a light year is). Rendering it pretty pointless since all you would see would be earth at the time the mirror was placed. Just saying...

Love the hand art depicting the endangered wildlife and the stamps with the saved animals. Three cheers for the American firefighters who rescued the cats. That is one thing (among many) that I love about some of the American people. They don't hesitate to assist and save animals from danger.
