Dreth, read Oomskaap's post again. The blacks think that the only cure for Aids is raping a white baby. These folks don't believe that. But he is 100% right. There are white South Africans with Engineering Degrees who cannot get jobs because they are the wrong skin color. This just isn't shown to the World. All the World sees is one happy united South Africa all worshiping Nelson Mandela. The ugly truth is that Apartheid is now slowly and steadily being reversed, and leaders of the nation are chanting songs that go "kill the boers" and "bring me my machine gun" - that last one is our president Jacob Zuma's own song he made up. He still chants it today at one of his many weddings and public appearances. The only difference between Apartheid and what's going on now, is that there isn't a name for it this time around.

Most of them have 2 or 3 children normally. And are educated. It's the reverse apartheid which is why they are where they are today.
Had I not left there 8 years ago I can guarantee I would be in the same boat as those people. I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get a job in another country and get out.
Sad to see, but I think it's going to get worse before it gets any better. Just think how much the R70+ billion they spent on stadiums could have been better used.

These crap about reversed apartheid is all you guys can say???? It's sad. The black minority in South Africa fought to be where they are now, as for the minor percentage of the white population living in poverty, I feel sorry for them and wish there was somehow I could help but stop blaming the government of neglect. If you are disadvantaged it's not the government's fault and it's sure as hell isn't Mandela's fault.

What's so funny is that you see this all over world. Even in so called first world countries, under your noses but most of you are so ignorant of everything outside your little boxes. Perhaps if the positive effects of industrialisation and the play of a free market were allowed free rein a better society would have emerged. (1950's) But irrational and archaic race attitudes prevented that. Vicious and mindless reactions to what were reasonable demands for a fair go were the order of the day when I was growing up. Things will get worse before they get better.
