I can relate what those tenants feel tho, once it piles up, it will become too troublesome to clear up...I have nothing to say about the bathroom tho...URK
In college as an RA I had to check on all the dorm rooms before Christmas Break. People would pay money to not check the guys rooms. Every room had a different stink, a stink so bad you could taste it for days. Burning your clothes helped a little.
Serious mental disorders going on here. I had a 'friend' who never let me into her house, till one day.......Man, that place! I wish I had had my camera....it was worse than any of those pics...dead mice, pickles on the windows....gross....Sad that her landlord had to pay the bill to get the place cleaned out....and Yes, she had a mental disorder!
You ought to make a distinction between filthy and just messy.
Filthy=Filled with trash that could easily be thrown away, often food packaging. A filthy apartment often smells and often has mice or flies or other pest.
Messy=Filled with various items that are actually useful (computers, computer parts, cables, books, magazines) with (seemingly) no order. Usually doesn't smell or attract pest, but the things are often covered in dust.
