I work with the Los Angeles Parking Enforcement and see this kind of stuff happening all the time. It's difficult to fight a parking ticket, and I'd say 1 out of 10 actually get waived.

Having parked roughly where this guy parked and having a similar thing happen to my friend and I, I gotta say, Good on ya mate! Bloody rip off if you ask me!
