I've tried it, can't say it's all that great. The poison is supposed to give you an extra buzz, but it's just a placebo effect.
Any toxicologist can tell you that the majority of venoms taken orally break down in the stomach before having a chance to enter the bloodstream.
They do make a nice addition to any home bar though.
