This breaks my heart and makes me weep. The innocent wildlife it is killing. And what a horrible death it is!

Humanity as a whole is the most despicable, destructive, greedy, hateful species on the face of this planet. We won't stop until every living thing is dead.

as a whole, we're not destroying the planet intentionally.

like every other life form on earth, we reproduce as much as we can and use up whatever resources we can without any thought to consequences. but unlike other life forms, we have become too successful for our own good. and this success is not going to last, because you cannot cheat the forces of nature forever...

what makes me sad is not that civilisation is going to crash soon, which may or may not lead to our extinction. what makes me sad is that we've taken so many animals and habitats with us in our descent to hell.

It's with tears in my eyes I write this. IMO this is the most catastrophic disaster that I have witnessed in my lifetime. I don't think we will ever be able to clean this up. BP has turned the once lovely Gulf of Mexico into a toxic soup. I cry for the flora and fauna and the people who will never recover from this tragic event.

Apu Kalipshis,
the guilty are not just people who use gas, but those who use other products made from petroleum, such as plastic.

also, those whose life wouldn't be possible unless others were using gas to bring them their goods or to keep them safe, i.e. shipping and national defense.

see the problem?

Will this be the event that forces us, as global civilization, to improve alternate fuel sources?

Agreement with everyone who implied that humans are gross.
