Those security camera ones are the worst. Poor planning.

I almost always leave the lens cap on my SLR by accident - but it's because I'm using the tiny digital camera on my phone... where lens caps are unheard of.

In the third pic, the guy is using a Leica rangefinder. The taking lens is distinct from the rangefinder, and when looking through the viewfinder you won't know if you have a lens cap on. This is really a common mistake with new rangefinder users and even a few veteran users.
